Boiled eggs without the pot? Yes, really. This clever Japanese egg maker lets you prepare up to four soft- or hard-boiled eggs using your microwave—ideal for breakfast toast, egg-topped salads or a creamy egg-mayo sandwich.

Simply fill the base with water to the marked line, fit the tray, add your eggs and securely lock the lid. Microwave, then leave the lid closed while residual heat finishes the cooking. Adjust the standing time to suit your preferred yolk texture.

  • Up To 4 Eggs: Prepare a small batch for everyday meals.
  • Soft Or Firm Yolks: Adjust the standing time for softer or firmer results.
  • Steam Cooking Design: The microwave heats the water below, while the aluminium-lined lid and tray shield the eggs from direct microwaves. This shielding is essential: microwaving eggs directly in their shells can cause them to explode. Always use the cooker fully assembled with water and both clips securely locked.
  • Made In Japan: A practical addition to your everyday kitchen routine.
  • Compact Size: Approximately 16 × 18 × 13.5 cm.

Cooking Guide

Use manual microwave mode at 500–600 W. For medium eggs:

  • 1–2 Eggs: Microwave for 7 minutes, then stand for 7 minutes with the lid closed.
  • 3–4 Eggs: Microwave for 8 minutes, then stand for 8 minutes with the lid closed.
  • Softer Yolks: Halve the standing time.
  • Hard-Boiled / Larger Eggs: Add 2–3 minutes of standing.

Timings are approximate. Results vary with egg size, egg and water temperature, and microwave model. Bring eggs to room temperature before use.

Materials & Care

  • Body, Lid & Knob: Polypropylene; temperature resistance −20°C to 120°C.
  • Inner Lid & Egg Tray: Anodised aluminium.
  • Cleaning: Hand wash with dishwashing detergent and a soft sponge, then dry. Not suitable for dishwashers or dish dryers.

Important Use Notes

Use manual microwave mode at 500–600 W only. Do not use at 700 W or above. Always use the cooker fully assembled with water filled to the marked line and both clips securely locked. Never heat without water. Do not use oven, grill, combination modes or automatic cooking programmes.

Microwave internal cavity height must exceed 14 cm. Handle carefully after cooking: hot water, steam and metal parts can cause burns. Read the full enclosed instructions before use.
